Pursuant to Public Act 126 of 2011 (MCL 211.44(2)(c)), a township treasurer or his/her designee shall be in his or her office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive tax payments for the collection of a summer tax levy, on September 14, (the last day taxes are due and payable before interest is added under MCL 211.44a(5).
